Minimum site requisites

These are the minimum conditions that any website should comply with in order to be accepted for inclusion and remain listed at Andinia's database:

1)- The site must be original (no clones or copies), each suggested URL should carry original content, should be hosted on a non-free server and sport its own domain name (read more about this here). We want to register sites that are stable in time, and whose owners or administrators demonstrate a minimum degree of commitment with them; you can see a list of professional hosting and domain registration services here.

2)- The site must not publish offensive, injurious, illegal or defamatory content, and it must not engage in activities such as SPAM (unsolicited mail messages) or excess advertising (i.e. too many pop-up windows, pop-unders, etc.) that may not be considered illegal in all jurisdictions, but unethical by the Internet community.

3)- The description provided by the site's webmaster or contact person and the information contained in the meta information section (meta -tags) should coincide and remain updated as regarding the actual content of each URL submitted; once we find that the content or descriptions of any given site have changed, we will attempt to update our information according to these rules. If, in the case of the new information or site version there is a violation, we will have to take the site out of our database.

4)- The site must be accessible at least in part for the general public; if it has sections not accessible to the public at large, it should provide at least one page not blocked by key codes of any kind.

5)- The site must remain accessible and in good shape every time that Andinia's editors may perform an inspection for updating our database information; if a website is not accessible at least three times in a row during a month, it could be considered as permanently offline and no longer existent.

6)- The site must be accessible thorough a domain name (for example, www.andinia.com), and not only thorough IP numbers.

7)- The website should be reasonably well edited and remain accessible at least by the most common web browsers such as Internet Explorer and Netscape in their latest versions.

8)- Each site may suggest any number of different URL corresponding to the same domain or domains related to the original URL submitted; however, if any given URL shall not be accepted for any reason, it must not be submitted for at least four weeks and until the changes suggested by our editors have been performed. URL submitted in non-conformance with this rule may be considered as a SPAM Index-related case.

9)- Our editors' decisions are final in any matter concerning websites registeres at Andinia's database, and reserve the right to edit the submited information, descriptions or any associated information.

10)- website owners, contact persons or administrators of each suggested site agree to aknowledge that they have been duly informed of all these norms and characteristics of the acceptance and inclusion process.

Non-accordance with any of these rules for any website and submission mode - at the discretion of our editors - may entail the rejection of any newly submitted URL or the deletion of the respective records if they have already been edited.
