It is indeed very interesting to be able to find luxury vehicles at reduced prices, but we must say that a car is not always a valuable survival resource.

It is also true that learning to drive is a valuable and today indispensable thing, but regarding urban survival, cars are not always as useful as immediately thought. Many well-to-do people had those, but soon enough they found out that under the rule of the republic they could not go out driving them, because those cars were seen as a symbol of the old, and mobs would attack them and their occupants.

Eventually, Hispano Suiza had to stop car production in Spain.

Thus, for survival situations bicycles seem to be much better if you have to leave town during an emergency.
