The art of seduction and attracting people of the opposite or preferred sex - because there is no law prescribing tastes - is something that humans have been perfecting from ancient times, before we even grew to be 'Homo sapiens' because seduction is not only a sociological but biological activity that ranges from the conscious state of mind to the deepest, subconscious corners of the soul.

There are various psycho - physiological and psychological aspects that make us prefer one person or another; some of these have already been studied scientifically.

Maybe the best known of these triggers are the pheromones, a kind of inodorous smell - an attempt to explain them succinctly - that is not absolute neither deterministic in terms of attraction, but one that works indeed. It is also know that a softer skin, both in terms of sight and tact is one of the subconscious factors: our instincts measure and calculate the 'real' age and health of the other individual of the other person on such basis.

So it was only a matter of time until the industry would come up with things like cosmetics to improve the aspect of the skin, cosmetic surgery as well as advanced perfumes that carry pheromones in their formulas. However, these are artificial and social ways to become more attractive, but not in biological terms, where what counts is the capability of producing a healthy and strong offspring in order to perpetuate humanity.

It is an established fact that these 'calculations' are performed in seconds; that is what we need to know if someone that we are seeing for the first time is attractive to us or not.

In a brief way, this is all what our efforts to be more beautiful and attractive are ultimately trying to produce; if it happens, then we have that mythical 'love at first sight.'
