Government And Police Auctions

Seized cars from $100, boats, aircraft, real estate, collectibles and jewelry. U.S. Government and police auctions online, instant access.

These are for the most part seized objects in good shape; thus, this site offers you the opportunity to acquire often expensive goods and items at ridiculously low prices.

We have visited some deposits where such items seized by police and security forces, as related to judicial warrants are stored; we can say that it was like getting into Noah's ark. Fascinating, to say the least.

It is hard to believe how many and how varied things you can find in such a place; we saw industrial tooling and machinery, restaurant equipment, cars, trucks, all sorts of electronics, aircraft, boats... Whatever.

Some of those items are in bad shape, but most range from good to excellent. Indeed, you will need to inform yourself before participating in such an auction, but you will make good deals in most occasions.

You may ask yourself with some degree of suspicion, where those things come from? Certainly, you would not buy a nice car if someone mass-murdered four people inside with a chain saw, but that is not the case with these things. At least from what we saw, it was evident that the items stored had nothing to do with violent crimes; those things involved in such deeds and acts are considered evidence and are not sold or exchanged, of course.

Nothing gory, no machete cuts, napalm burns or bullet holes. We actually visited once a site were criminal evidence was kept, and it is a completely different thing; we remember, for example, an SUV badly crushed from every side, and a smell that was coming out, in the summer afternoon... That was not exactly a TV commercial for hamburgers.

Anyway, these auctionable goodies are instead properties seized by authorities to individuals involved in illegal acts of whatever kind, or whenever a warrant was enforced and later, for whatever reason, they were not returned to their original owners. We saw industrial machinery used for all sorts of things: making plastic bottles for mineral water, polishing machines, presses, tools of all kinds, telephone systems, luxury cars and even two airliners that looked ready to take off.

And for each big thing, there were many, hundreds of small items such as desktop and laptop computers, forks, knifes, spoons, screwdrivers, desks, chairs, tables, tea cups, and - it seems - every single little thing to reproduce our civilisation in another planet.

So, you really don't need a huge salary to live well, if you know where to look for the required things; clearly, keeping and maintaining a yatch or an airplane takes money, but nobody says that you have to keep those for eternity. You may sell them at a later time and at a higher price.
