We have been their customers for over a decade and always found their products to be quite good and living to our expectations.

This is a long-standing merchant and distributor of this kind of equipment; it was founded long before the Internet appeared and they really deliver.

After the terrorist attacks on New York and Washington, in 2001, this company focused more on the security and military markets, and somewhat less on the general outdoor public.

Nevertheless, the products they sell are quite good and you can find good offers and some items that would be difficult to find elsewhere.

For example, we usually purchase from them our Gore-Tex (r) oversocks; either in Europe, Latin America, or even the U.S., when we go elsewhere asking, merchants tell us that such socks do not exist, but this one has them.

We use waterproof oversocks since in many parts of the world you will get moist feet when you venture outdoors, and that can become a serious problem.

Rainproof or waterproof oversocks are a result of the Malvinas-Falklands war of 1982; both Argentinean and British forces suffered a lot of casualties because of frozen toes and feet; the soil there is quite damp and temperatures are subpolar.

So after those events armies began asking manufacturers to provide them with some sort of protection for soldier's feet, and so oversocks saw the light.
