Information and indispensable material on survival and self-defence under terrorist-attack conditions, high-alert, high-risk, military and dangerous situations in general.

Terrorism is nothing new; anarchists, for example, were quite active killing people back in the nineteenth century, and terorist gropus have murdered hundreds of thousands of innocent oneas arount the globe ever since then.

What makes terrorism so dangerous now is that the technology for mass murder has reached the mainstream; we have just to remember those attacks on the Tokyo subway system using posionous gas a few years ago, and the attacks over New York and Washington in 2001 show us that even large-scale killings using conventional means are possible too.

And then, there is the lingering danger of a full-scale WMD attack somewhere; what happened in Tokyo was some sort of rehearsal, but it could have been much more terrible.

Now we have terrorist coming from Islamic cultures who are terribly violent; with the excuse of fighting for God they are destroying the lives of Christians, Muslims, Budhists or whatever.

We should never forget, above all, that we are humans, and it would not be fair to point fingers to a whole culture just because a few genocidal individuals, but clearly, something has to be done there. There is some problem within Islam which leads to the production of suicidal tendencies.

Some explanations are coming, pretending to explain that there is a lot of frustration among young Muslims because of what happens between Israelis and Palestinians, but that is not enough, and it is also a lame excuse; there are many individuals frustrated arund the world, yet, they don't slaugher by the dozen because they feel that they had a bad day, and we should perhaps remind ourselves that groups similar to Al-Qaida were doing the same things long before the Israeli occupation of Gaza and the West Bank.

The people from Poland or Lithuania had every reason to feel angry and frustrated with Russians and Germans, for these two countries harmed them a lot during the twentieth century, yet, no single case of Poles or Lituhuanians blowing up train stations or aircraft ir Russia or Germany ever occured.

It is clearly a problem that needs study but honestly, excuses are not constructive at this point. This problem has its roots in something that is failing within islamic communities, and trying to search for explanations elsewhere will do no good.

On the other hand, there are practical issues related to survival in the face of such scenario that should be addressed; there are indeed specific survival techniques that you should be aware of in order to survive not only an explosion or environmental contamination, but other factors as well, such as the ensuing panic that might arise.

Regrettably, this is the world that we have now. We hope that more capable leaders will appear in the future so that this tragical problem may be solved, but in the meantime, you should better learn about survival.
