So, there is a need - a real one - to develop independent income streams; as people who love nature and adventurous lifestyles, we have been into this for a while, but we believe that a mainstream need will also arise in this regard.

Every income opportunity which also has the potential to turn you into an independent person merits some consideration; most probably will not work, and while you are looking for one you should bear this in mind, but you have to keep trying.

The way to plan for the future is to plan for freedom and independence; in the past, corporate jobs gave people some sense of security, but with the present rate of cutbacks, jobs going abroad to places like Malaysia, Guatemala and China, an increasingly unstable international political scenario, and democratic governments that are growing authoritarian attitudes with phone tapping and video screening of people as if this was a normal occurence, if you trust society to pay you back, you may end up with nothing left, not even a farewell note.
