The fact that oil industry aficionados are telling that there is no data to link oil consumption to global warming is simply a lie based either in ignorance or greed: everything is connected in our planet, and continuing to rely in fossil fuel would be extremely hazardous and irresponsible because there are two possibilities: either they are right in which case, anyway, we will run out of fuel in a few decades and live thorough other set of disasters due to fuel starvation; or they are wrong, in which case, we will all suffer for their greed and ignorance.

Most big cities around the world are barely elevated over sea level, and the tragedy of New Orleans can and will be repeated scores of times with no resources to help unless there is a dramatic change in the way governments do things.

For common people, it is a fact that survival training, good insurance policies to protect their assets and the need to put a lot of pressure over politicians should become part of their daily lives.

Climate change is here; we must revert it before it is too late.
