Learn to fly on a Piper PA-11 and learn all the secrets of the trade that brand-new aircraft filled with gizmos will never show you; thorough 40 hours you will not only learn all the maneuvers and procedures that will turn you into a safe and confident pilot, but you will also develop the skills needed to control a taildragger (an aircraft with a small wheel on the tail).

Landing on soft terrain, taking off from short runways, and hand propping are part of this course which, by the way, costs much less by far than your standard run-of-the-mill thing available at most U.S. and European flight schools. If you learn to fly on these Piper Cubs, you will be able to fly anything else.

Flight courses in European or U.S. schools are indeed very good, but it is hard to compete when you consider that this Air Club offers you the same services and then some, especially regarding what is implied in classical taildragger instruction, and all for one third of what you would pay otherwise: 110 Argentine Pesos per flight hour, which is the same as u$35 or 30 Euros.

Talidragger pilots are better pilots - a fact - because of the superior control that is required to take off and land these kind of aircraft. It is more challenging, true, but will make you a better aviatior in the long run.

The Malvinas Argentinas Air Club is dedicated to educating pilots and helping general aviation, tasks for which it offers these products and services in order to fund its activities.

By helping this club you will not only collaborate in promoting general aviation activities and keeping a small fleet of vintage aircraft which are already part of history, but also help educate fellow pilots who may otherwise find it impossible to fund their studies.

It is also worth noticing that all donations are tax-deductible; thus, you will not spend more money by donating, but less.
