It seems ironic but the fall of the soviet bloc seems to be connected with the worsening of lifestyle quality around the world: according to studies of the United Nations, in recent years the quality of life has globally diminished, beginning with the fall of the communist world. The thin is not that communism was that brilliant, but the fact that after is demise as a mainstream economic and social model, the neo-conservative ideology found a free field for expansion, and as always happens with these changes, unimpaired and unchecked political agendas tend to be bad.

Neo-conservative enthusiast support a global hegemony of the United States and its ideas; despite their virtues and defects, the fact that thy have expanded without the constraints of a competing ideology has produced a lot of problems such as the worsening of the greenhouse effect, climate change - you can believe someone with just a bachelor's degree in marketing, like the president of the United States, who says that this isn't happening, or Phd's in meteorology, biology, etc. from around the world that indicate that it is a fact -, wars, soaring oil prices, unemployment and dehumanisation (remember how the people of New Orleans were treated by their own country when the city suffered its flooding.)

So, here at Andinia we think that communism should b revamped and incorporate these current issues into its agenda. This neo-communism should be created as a barrier for these new authoritarians that with their ideology of fortune-fetching-for-a-few-at-all-costs, incorporating issues such as climate change, ecology and event he revision of big fortunes, particularly in the United States in order to find if these have been gathered honestly or not.

Maturing the neo-communist concept may well be a matter of survival for our civilisation. Just think what would happen if other cities suffer the fate of New Orleans because of climate change.
