Very useful for all kinds of graphical artists and photographers because prints and pictures will look exactly as they appear onscreen.
This tool works well with CRT and LCD technologies, with no compromises. It even permits printer profiling. This would be an excellent tool in any case, but you can't imagine how much time such things save us whenever we have to calibrate many monitors working together, like in the case of flight simulators where each monitor provides one view from the cockpit. For realistic simulation, not only it is a requirement to place those monitors or projection screens where they should, and you not only need good video cards to process the images.
In fact, without proper calibration, you would spend a lot of money just to have a rather bad sim.
