Version 7.0 of Adobe PhotoShop for MS Windows runs native on a Windows XP environment.

If your PC is currently running under Windows XP, this is PhotoShop's version for you; however, due to significant incompatibilities between XP and other Windows versions, we don't recommend you to attempt to run Adobe PhotoShop 7.0 Win XP on your machine if you have installed Windows 95, 98, 2000, etc.

Adobe PhotoShop is an excellent product; we are not so sure about Windows XP in relation to other Win versions.

Anyway, maybe one day Windows will become miraculously into a reasonably good operating system that doesn't hag your machine and uses a reasonable amount of resources; literally, this operating system must be having some sort of environmental impact due to its inefficiency.
