These photos show a city tour by the town of Castelo Novo (Portugal).
Castelo Novo could be considered one of the most authentic portuguese villages with its own history, as was originally donated by the portuguese monarchs to the Order of the Templars, then the Ordem de Cristo, ensuring domains in S. XIII were conquered Muslims. Already in the S. XVI, is awarded to Don Manuel I, to the monarch to make great contributions to the artistic and architectural heritage of the old town. So the people ends up showing mixtures distinctly medieval style with influences of Manuelino and later (XVIII), Baroque.
