Details found in one of the sides of Keops' pyramid. The stones of the pyramid fit perfectly; you could not even place a hair between them. As far as it is known, only their weight and a bit of probable polishing has been used to put them in place and make them fit so snugly. The same construction techniques were used at least in all the three great pyramids.
Despite what many believe - those who never visited Egypt - the pyramids have no decorations inside, in those areas open to the public. There are no paintings, carvings, statues or relics; nothing is there, but of course, you feel that you are inside some of the greatest monuments on the surface of the planet.
