A front view of the Cessna C-182 Skylane that belongs to the El Bolsón Flying Club, in Patagonia; with this aircraft, the club offers flying lessons, mountain flying adaptation rides and checkouts, as well as sightseeing tours, among other things. The Skylane is not exactly the cheapest aircraft to fly in terms of per-hour costs; however, the 230HP found in its engine are a guarantee of uncompromising performance and safety. This is a true, all-time four seater that can carry four passengers, cargo and fuel, no matter what; for pilots it is a true delight to fly despite its rather big size. Well balanced and compensated, with surprisingly little p-factor (torque) despite its engine, it is pretty stable too. But quality comes at a cost: a used model, like this one made in 1967 woudl cost you around U$60.000, while brand-new ones go for around U$250.000 each.
