A view of Mount Roca del Tiempo, right to the north of Mount Morrudo, showing also a remarkable shrinking of its snowfields and its glacier. In our view the time frame between 1998 and 2002 marked the lowest point in the extension of snowfields and glaciers in that part of Patagonia. Afterwards, more intense winters and coolest summers meant at least a temporary increase in the volume of accumulated snow.
