You will not be able to adopt perfect shooting postures all the time, but you will have to adapt and improvise.
In this case the shooter is crossing a deep ravine in the middle of a forest using a fallen trunk as a bridge of sorts. He has no option but to point the gun without opening more his legs, as it ideally should be, while keeping his balance over a round, slippery surface.
