Improvised spear.

After the controlled explosion this is what was left of the hollow charge system; the vessel containing the explosives disappeared but it is easy to see that the rest of the components have been left in a state that allows for recycling.

This shows how a hollow charge focuses most of the energy delivered during the detonation in a specific direction instead of dissipating all around. If the charge had not been shaped correctly, the rest of the components would have not survived.
