Explosive Charge / Author: Gustavo Sakuda

Improvised spear.

This is an example of a small, yet efficient, explosive charge placed under the water. The trigger system is contained inside the black aluminium can and it is associated to a battery, which is located inside the small white container that is seen hanging from it. In the second container, a little bit to the left of the picture, you can see the vessel inside which the explosives have been placed.

This is a Monroe-type or hollow point charge that was used to drill a 2m hole under the ground. The characteristic shape of the hollow point penetration head cannot be seen in this case because it is placed entirely inside the plastic container.
