Finding Trails

One of the differences between trunks that are in the path of people or animals and that are crossed is the kind of things, particularly vegetation, deposited on top of them.

Fallen trunks seldom crossed by anybody will have ore vegetation outgrows and will bear no marks whatsoever.

Instead, if they bear clear cut marks in the wood there will be certainly people not far away from the spot where you find those signs.
