Starting a campfire using this technique is very easy. First you have to build the wooden structure also known as the pagoda:

Then, place the initiator - something highly combustible and easy to lit on -; we generally use homemade , made by us.

Then you fire up the initiator and wait until you have a steady and stable flame before adding any additional fuel or wood.

Then, place or throw carefully the initiator inside the pagoda and start putting small wooden sticks over it in order to feed the fire.

And once the fire has caught, put some bigger sticks until the whole thing catches up and you have your bonfire ready for use.

Remember to be very careful with all campfires! Never leave yours unattended!
