Coaching is a word that has become somewhat fashionable; in sports, naturally, it is part of the training process of any athlete or team. A coach is as a significant figure as the athlete himself; without good coaching, talent and skills are never enough to guarantee victory. So it is easy to see – at least superficially - the reasons behind coaching and why the marketable use of that word has become a success in its own: Any Internet search on that word delivers so many results that it makes it necessary to significantly refine your questions to any search engine.
Today we have books on coaching whatever you want; you have, of course, sports coaching, but then leadership coaching, sexual coaching, pregnancy coaching, business coaching, life coaching, personal development coaching and many, many different applications of the same word, and with every different use there is a slightly different meaning. There is even coaching on coaching, so that you become a professional coach, no matter in what department.
