Megaxantho zogue - A late Cretaceous crab (68 MY) found in Chiapas, Mexico. Today it is considered as the first of its kind that evolved specific adaptations destined to break shells, something common in present-day crabs. Its discovery was a surprise, since it was thought that such adaptations were far more recent.
