Schnitzer, Isaak Eduard - Isaak Eduard Schnitzer (1840-1892), was a German physician and naturalist that became governor of the province of Equatorial Nile. Form then on he was known as 'Emin Pasha;' during his mandate he was rescued by Morton Stanley, leading a large expedition. Later, he took part in an expedition led by Stuhlmann but was murdered by some natives.
