Baines, Thomas - Thomas Baines (1820-1875) was an artist and explorer that took part in several expeditions in Australia and Africa in various roles, including official illustrator; he worked with people like Sir Augustus Gregory and Dr. David Livingstone. During the last years of his life he leaded various gold-seeking expeditions in Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe.
