Gregory, Augustus Charles - Sir Augustus Charles Gregory (1819-1905) was an Australian explorer born in the UK. He made four significant expeditions in Australia, including one set forth to try to find Frederich Leichhardt and his group of companions. Artist Thomas Baines was the illustrator of at least one of his voyages.
