Cuatrero - An Argentinean word thast describes a cattle stealer. At least until very recently, security forces still had orders to shoot to kill on sight these criminals; there it is essentially allowed to kill a cow or sheep for survival, but you must leave the hide or wool hanging from the fencing wires that surround any land property. Traditionally, it is considered that if you take animals alive or the hides and skins of those killed without asking the owner first, you will be considered and treated like a cuatrero.
