In the case of the longer route, the main danger comes from the fact that climbers will find themselves going thorough a steep wall which falls a couple of hundred of metres to a pair of lakes lying below. These are the lakes that give Mount Entre Lagos its name.

Surrounding Mount Alicia thorough its southern face is indeed possible, but not safer as the northern route. In fact, going clockwise to the south and then to the west means too crossing the glacier, but also, exposing yourself to the very deep fall to the Northern Motoco Valley.

Mount Alicia's summit is wide and open. There is enough room and views to stay for a while there. The whole Motoco region may be seen to the south, and to the north, you may also take a look at Mount Raquel, Mount Hielo Azul and other similar structures.

From this point you may also walk westwards, thorough the occidental crest of this mountain, in order to approach Mount Entre Lagos.

You may also attempt to descend thorough a small trail that goes down and to the south. This trail will lead you to a cabin which has been constructed on the lower and already-explored parts of the main Motoco Valley.
