The reason for such a consideration lies in the fact that leadership is per se the factor that will give value to the sum of individual efforts in order to convert the synergy into something more valuable than the sum of its parts.
In other words, assuming that an organisation is capable of producing more than an individual, it is evident that in order to keep this assumption it is necessary to get and maintain all components working together, and that is directly related to the leadership capabilities of its organisers.
Thus, those organisations which emphasise the acquisition or development of their own leadership skills in a good sense, are those that become more solid and develop better strategies for survival and growth.
