My work was concerned with the applicability of Plato's concepts to the real world, and whether they produce the results portrayed or desired by Plato or not.

Indeed, a social model as such is in many aspects obsolete now: the fate of war prisoners as slaves is an element which cannot be considered today, but in general terms, Plato's basic concepts can find analogous rationalisations today.

Whether these are applicable or not is precisely the core of this dissertation, which for the sake of order I have divided in the following sections, which constitute the core of modern societies:

1)- Authority.

2)- Liberty.

3)- Equality.
