"Forest fires can start like the most modest of flames, and their causes cannot be prevented or avoided in many causes.

However, we should not make the situation worse or contribute to increase the risk of starting a forest fire with imprudence or sloppiness.

Make sure that your campfire has been properly terminated before you leave your camp. Don't throw cigarettes or matches down your way, and pay attention to the way you construct and use anything that might possibly use fire. Fire requires combustible material, oxygen and some sort of starter or spark providing the initial energy.

It takes just a second to make sure that a fire has been properly put off. It takes fifty years for a forest to grow again, at least. Take care of our environment."
